Maybe you're in a remote
location and need a bathroom or bathroom renovation but there
are no tradesmen handy.
At Fibre Composites
we produce a moulded fibre glass bathroom exclusively for Add-A-Bathroom, provided in flat pack form
that is easy and inexpensive to transport. The bathroom can easily be
assembled on site with very few tools required.
Another advantage of
this type of bathroom is that it can be assembled inside a room as there
are no problems with narrow doorways or other entrances. Simply take the
components to the room and assemble.
Should you have a larger or remote project, our Flat Pack bathroom has been designed to effectively containerise
allowing cost effective shipment of your order to the construction site, be that in Australia or overseas. Each unit comes packed in its' own heavy duty carton and six units are stacked to a purpose built pallet.
This level of packaging ensures your order arrives in good condition, ready to install. 30 units can be packed in a 20' container and 60 in a 40' container. Once on site the units can either be craned in pallet lots to the appropriate floor or carried in component form to the required area.
Options available include supply and installation of the internal tap-ware and fittings required to complete the installation. This can impact slightly on the size of the packaging depending on your requirements.
Once the unit is assembled it provides all the internal surfaces of the bathroom, floor, walls and ceiling. No painting, tiling or lining of any kind is required. Colours can be selected to suit your interior colour scheme and are applied in a smooth, gloss finished gel coat which is a hard durable surface in such applications.
Easy of cleaning is a big advantage in our bathrooms as there are minimal joints and the surface wipes clean with ease.
